Payment Options
In order to serve you better our office offers several methods of payment. Unless prior arrangements are made, payment in full is expected at the time treatment is provided. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards; personal checks and cash. We also offer "Dental Fee Plan", which enables you to acquire a no interest/low interest loan for your dental needs.
If you have dental insurance, we will gladly submit your dental claim for you. Our computer system will calculate what your estimated benefits will be, as well as any payment due from you.
Dental Insurance Coverage
If your employer has made dental insurance available to you, please be aware that they have chosen your benefits package based upon many different plans offered by an insurance company or broker. The type of dental benefits that are covered relate to the dollar amount spent on the benefit package by the employer. Most dental insurance covers 50% to 80% of the cost of treatment; a few do cover at 100%.

Here's a few insurance "tips" that may help you.
- Dental insurance benefits do not work in the same way as medical insurance. There is almost always a co-payment due from the patient.
- Regardless of any dental insurance benefits that might exist, the patient is always legally responsible for the entire cost of dental treatment.
- The extent of dental coverage is solely dependent on the dental insurance plan purchased by the employer. The higher the premium the employer pays, the greater the dental insurance benefits.
- The letters UCR on insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) stand for Usual, Customary, And Reasonable fee. The dollar amount you see as UCR is an amount determined solely by the plan selected and insurance premium paid by the employee. There is no relationship to the actual dental office fee. The better the plan, the higher the UCR will be.
- A single insurance carrier may have many different UCR fees for the same procedure, same office, and same dentist. Once again, it is determined by your dental insurance plan.
